Second-hand bookshop websites
Your shelves online, book by book.
A reader searches for a title, sees you have it, reserves it and comes in to collect it. For a second-hand bookshop, that’s often what matters most. We prepare the mockup free of charge, before you decide anything.
No commitment and no rental contract. If you don’t like it, you owe us nothing.

Le Signet, a bookshop that doesn’t exist.
To show the kind of site we build, we imagined Le Signet, a fictional second-hand bookshop. Everything works: try it.
- Walk into the shop in 3D
- Look for a book in the catalogue
- Reserve it to collect in the shop
- Offer the shop some books to buy
The questions booksellers ask themselves.
And for everything else, the general questions.
How do my books get onto the site?
You send us your listings or photos, in batches, and we put them online. If you already keep your stock in a spreadsheet, we can start from that file.
What if a reserved book has just sold in the shop?
The reservation lands on your phone and you confirm it in one tap, once the book is in your hands. If it’s already gone, you let the reader know and the book comes off the site.
Can I send books by post?
Yes. Readers pay online, postage included, worked out by weight or by number of books. You decide whether you ship within France only or abroad too.
What if I sell new books?
For new books, we’d rather be honest: bookshops sell them online through their network’s platforms, linked to their stock, and France’s fixed book price sets the price everywhere. A made-to-measure site wouldn’t change much. Second-hand and rare books are another matter: every copy is unique and you set its price. If you sell both, your site can link to your platform for new books.
How much does a bookshop website cost?
It mostly depends on the size of your catalogue, online sales and shipping. You get a written quote after seeing your mockup, before deciding anything.
